The Kodiak® Deny The Dark® KOMPRESS® is a unique rechargeable lantern designed for versatile lighting at campsites, outdoor gatherings, and emergency situations. Its innovative pop-up design allows the lantern to function as either a wide area light or a focused spotlight depending on how it is used.
Pull the water-resistant silicone shade upward to expand the lantern for bright area lighting, or leave it collapsed to use the light as a directional spotlight. Three brightness modes provide adjustable illumination ranging from 300 lumens up to a powerful 2500 lumens.
For softer ambient lighting, the lantern also features a 50 lumen amber mode that is ideal for tents, campers, or relaxing outdoor environments where subtle lighting is preferred.
A fold-out spring-loaded hanging hook and kickstand on the back provide flexible positioning options, while an additional hanging loop at the top of the silicone shade allows the lantern to be suspended overhead.
The KOMPRESS® is powered by a built-in 6000 mAh lithium-ion battery that also functions as a power bank for charging smartphones and tablets. The lantern measures 7.5 inches high by 6.6 inches in diameter when expanded and 3 inches high by 6.6 inches in diameter when collapsed.
