"Last review I gave it 3 stars. Said had potential to be a 5 star. Well due to design build quality and life of battery it would take a serious redesign for that to happen. I’ve hardly used my krux at all. Maybe had it at most 4 months. The past month every time I’ve grabbed it it’s been dead. I can charge it all day unplug it when I go to bed if I need it the next morning it will be completely dead. I was initially impressed but now. Will not buy another product. Would rather pay extra for the Nebo(which I don’t care for either) least most of time they work. I haven’t used my krux 20 times. Never ran battery completely dead. Just seems to be junk."

No refund

"Got a light from here. Hated it! The dial on/off is horrible design and comes on in ur pocket almost burning u. Clip is way too bulky. Lazer is dim. Returned it and never got a refund. This place sucks."

Won’t charge after 3-4 months.

"Mine quit charging after 3-4 months of casual use. The battery life got consistently shorter after two months. It’s nearly unusable now. I bought in April or May. Extremely unhappy with the quality/performance of the battery. It has been very useful until it quit working properly. I would not recommend this to anyone whom is expecting it to last even a year. I’ve only had it about a quarter."

Savagely disappointed in this thing.

"I wanted to try and rate this thing at least 2 or 3 stars, but it's just not there anyway I look at it. I was going to say maybe it's a good mechanic's light for someone who's hard on their stuff and knows they'll break it or lose it, but at 50 dollars it's basically twice as expensive as it should be for even that to make sense. Like other reviews say, the dial switch / mode select are awful. The switch has a mushy click to it so it's hard to select your mode by feel (which you're gonna have to do if you're trying to preserve night vision because you have to scroll past high mode every time you turn it on). There's no true lockout so it's not safe to keep in your pocket. The clip is a bit of a monstrosity and doesn't feel durable, but they did at least try to make it a double clip. Form factor and weight is a bit too awkward for any real use on brim of hat. Magnet on the base is good and strong, they got that right at least. Brightness is good but nothing to write home about. Battery is whatever, could definitely be better. I do like the way the light feels in the hand. Good form factor for working on stuff. For 50 bucks in 2026 there's no reason you should get a light with a user interface that's THIS bad. Browse other name brands and get something with a proper memory and lockout functions. There are plenty of flashlight nerds on YouTube that'll point you in the direction of best bang for your buck. I really hope this company takes feedback seriously, because they have so many cool designs that could be 9/10s with some work and/or better price points. Oh well, at least my cats :3 have a laser pointer to play with now :p"

Faulty

"My Krux turns itself on in my pocket. Didn’t notice until I felt a burning sensation on my leg. I also had it turn itself on sitting on my nightstand. I figured out that if anything magnetic gets close it randomly turns on different light modes. This flashlight is downright dangerous."

Small, bright, packed with features.

"It's small, light weight, built with premium materials. In high, it's brighter than I normally need. I find low to be plenty bright for what I use it for most of the time. Which is great and gives me 8 hrs in such a small light. The UV works amazing, and the Lazer is nice and bright also. It's very lightweight to have all the features it has. The perfect edc light for most people."

Has potential to be a 5 star light but…. .

"Decent light. Don’t like that the center button is turbo. Keeps turning on in my pocket. You’d think with the dial on lock that it would be locked and stay off but that’s not the case. Plus the UV could be brighter if it wasn’t for those two things it would’ve been a 5 star flash light. Maybe they’ll come out with an updated version with turbo on the dial and the lock will actually be locked and not come on running the battery dead and burning your leg. Really that alone could make it a 5 star flash light."

Works well but limited clunky controls

"It’s a decent pocket light I guess but there is no way to turn the dial to low or any other setting and turn the light on and off at that setting. I keep finding myself wanting to push the center button to turn the light off and on intuitively but it relies on the wheel to cycle through all the options and back to off. All the center button does is double click for the laser and push and hold for the 30 second turbo. Seems like it’s missing any single click function. The lock function on the wheel does not work at all, it really should just be a white light off icon as you can still turn the turbo and the laser on even when the wheel is in the lock setting. It can be quite frustrating blinding myself and others cycling through the wheel to get to low/eco in lowlight conditions. Poor chaps trying to cycle all the way to the UV light and back running the gamut of brightness. Don’t touch the glass, it gets hot. Thanks for using 2 warning symbols."
