how to know when the 1000 model needs a charge
Generally when the light doesn't get as bright as it should, or only stays on for a short time are indicators a full charge is needed.

All of our rechargeable flashlights can charge their own battery without the need of an external charger.

my flashlight this type of battery. but I don't know if that would solve the problem. My flashlight when I push the bottom will shut off a couple seconds later. could it be the battery or something else?

Yes, that battery is rechargeable. We do not sell chargers at this time. The batteries do charge inside the flashlight using the included charging cable connected to any USB power source.

I have your 3.7 volt Replacement Battery for 22668 - LA-1000RFL-6/12. Polarity of the battery is not marked as is common elsewhere. Which end is the positive pole normally indicated with a plus (+) symbol? Thanks much & please advise.
Please note that there is an arrow on the battery indicating the direction in which to insert it.
