"I purchased LitezAll 100 Lumen Motion Activated Puck Light for my 92 year old mom. The pack came as 4 so I decided to try 2 for us. We tried to put 1 on ceiling on our walk in closet which is pitch black if we don't turn on the light switch that is behind an amour so, it's in an inconvient spot. The motion light worked while we we holding it, but not after we attached it to the base where we put on the ceiling. I contacted customer service. Their customer service (Angelica) has been fantastic. Angelica had me send it back so that they could test it. They found that it worked perfectly. The problem was putting the light on the ceiling. The customer service provided by Angelica and her team was excellent (wonderful). I will continue to purchase products from LitezALL."

Yes, but it does need to be covered. While the unit is weather resistant, it is not waterproof.
