"I waited about a month to write my review in order for it to be substantive. Here are my experiences. I purchased 2 lights to test their effectiveness and durability. Both worked flawlessly at the outset. After a month, one is still working without problems; one of the units no longer accepts a charge. So, it is functionally useless."

How do you carve if unit is nowhere near an outlet. Does the unit come off the magnetic strip to charge
Hi. The light is easily removable from it's magnetic mount for charging. Hope this helps.
Can this be used in a freezer?

How long is the usb cable? Can you get a longer length? Is there compatible cables?
The included charging cable is pretty short (less than 12"). That said, any micro USB cable will work.
