"waste of money, cheap garbage"
"I ordered 2 sets of 2 to place in the various places in my apartment that are dark, like cabinets, closets, & pantry. They are very bright, easy to install & worth the price!"
"A great solution for under cabinet or above cabinet lighting. Unfortunately, they no longer are remote controlled. Therefore undercabinet lighting is an option but above cabinet lighting no longer is."
"Very versatile and can be placed anywhere you need."
"They work really well, very bright. Sticky discs don't hold very well on all surfaces, wood for one. Will use super glue next time lite falls off. Other than that, very handy."
"These lights are portable and can be moved from one location to another. The magnetic base makes them great for keeping in the truck when some light is needed under the hood or unloading. These have many uses around the house. Even in a closet."
"Just what I needed"
How far the remote will operate?
This model does not include a remote.
how to replace batter after the unit has been mounted. I'm using tabs in stead of nails? Thank You!
Hi. It is extremely difficult if not impossible to replace batteries while mounted. You'd want to remove them so you could shake the dead batteeries out. The best way to mount these lights is magnetically, magnetically to the included discs, or Command Adhesive tabs.
I never used the remote control with these. In fact, one remote control still had the plastic protector strip in the battery compartment. I let the batteries remain dead for about a year, and now they will not work with fresh batteries. I tried turning on manually (they don't turn on!) and then pressing the remote Off and On. Nothing. Is there any way to get them going again? I hate to throw all this plastic and metal in the trash.
Hi. Sorry to hear this. If dead batteries were in the unit for so long, they probably leaked. You coud try "roughing" the battery terminals with an emery board and wiping away any residue. If that doesn't work I'm afraid they need to be disposed of.
How long will it light, on high and low?
Continueous lighting is 5 hours on high and 6 hours on low. Bear in mind these lights are intended to be used on as as needed basis rather than hours at a time.
