Great for closets
"Finally got something good enough so I didn’t feel like I needed to wire an ac light. Especially nice because you can detach and aim where you want light (it attaches to the disc magnetically). The only improvement might be an auto shutoff option—I have accidentally left them on and had to replace the batteries more than once."

What type batteries does in used and what is the estimate of how long it operates before the batteries need to be replaced
The Glyde uses AAA batteries. Expect up to 6 hours of continuous light. Keep in mind lights such as these are designed for intermittant use. If used in this manner you may get several months of usage before battery replacement is needed.
