Aaaaalmost perfect!

"I’ve used the Kodiak KIP for just over a year now for hiking/backpacking. It performs well for the size. I use it primarily on the lowest light level or red mode which provides enough battery life that I haven’t had it run out on me. I changed out the single strand headband for a double strand to better keep it in place on my head. There is one flaw with this headlamp and that’s the Micro USB. I wish that it was updated for USB-C instead. The headlamp weighs . 88oz, the 6” micro usb cord weighs . 56oz, almost doubling the packed weight of this headlamp as it’s the only thing I need to carry a micro usb cord for."

Lifesaving !!!!!!!!

"I had it on my forehead while bicycle riding at night. I hit a branch from a fallen tree. I went over the handle bars straight into my forehead. It protected my head from further damage. It saved my life probably. The housing broke off from the clip. Superglue back together and still riding with it at night!!!!!!"

Awesome!

"Got this little light for deer season! It has surpassed all expectations. . . I love all the settings. My only disappointment was the red light is not bright enough to walk with! Other than that it will not, does not disappoint! The recharge battery makes sure you don't run out of light! Super bright settings is good out to 50-70 effectively and can still see our to 90 or so! Can not beat this light especially for the price!"

its alright

"I was at my dads and found this and kept it , I don't know much Abt this thing but only the green and red LEDs light up the flashlight part of it won't turn on ,honestly i think it works but there's a certain way to turn it on"

Kip micro headlight

"This micro sized light packs a punch! Its the perfect bill light light because it doesn't weigh the front of your hat down and when its folded up and out of the way you don't even know its there! But let me tell you something when you turn it on, EVERYONE is gonna know its there! This tiny light commands power when its on and the other modes are awesome for nighttime use, they are the perfect number of lumens for them to light up whatever task your doing but not ruin your night vision or give your position away."

Great Light

"Provides a lot of light with the trade off of battery life. Perfect for quick use like inspections. Very lightweight and handy. The swivel mount is a bit lacking in strength as the light can swivel just by flipping your hat to put it on your head. Still a worthwhile purchase."

Must have for any outdoorsman!!

"I have been using this continuously on the farm for the past week or so. I hate wearing a band around my head so use it by clipping to my hat. It’s bright enough that I can see my workspace while cutting strings and putting hay out. This is a must have for fishing and hunting. The red light will help you in those zero light mornings to the stand and the bright white mode is a must have for finding a blood trail."
