The Kodiak® Deny The Dark® KOMPANION® is a compact rechargeable light designed to be a dependable companion for everyday tasks and outdoor activities. Small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, it delivers powerful illumination and a wide range of useful features for home, work, travel, and recreation.
The KOMPANION® produces up to 500 lumens of bright light with three brightness modes that provide up to 3 hours of continuous runtime. A red light mode is also included to improve visibility and signaling in low-light environments.
An integrated six-position locking kickstand and hanging hook allow you to easily aim or position the light exactly where it’s needed. A strong magnet on the back securely attaches the light to most smooth, rust-free metal surfaces, making it especially useful for vehicle repairs, emergency lighting, and hands-free work.
The top of the light includes a spring-loaded carabiner that conveniently attaches to belt loops, backpacks, or key rings. A built-in bottle opener adds extra everyday functionality.
For even more versatility, the KOMPANION® includes a threaded tripod mount compatible with standard photo tripods. With a CRI rating greater than 94 in all brightness modes, it produces accurate, natural-looking light suitable for podcasts, photography, and video production.
The light measures 2.25 inches high by 1.75 inches wide by 0.75 inches deep, combining portability with impressive versatility.
Includes a USB-C charging cable for quick, convenient recharging so you’re always ready to work.

Approximately how long does it take to charge after being fully discharged?
It takes up to 1.5 hours to charge.

Can the provided charging cord be combined with a charger block allowing the light to be charged in a 110v outlet? If so, should the charger block be limited to a maximum wattage, like 10 watts? Thanks!
Not sure I understand the question. That said, any standard USB charging souce should work fine.

Can I power the light from an external USB power cord if I want to keep it on 500 lumen brightness all day? Will it overheat or anything at that brightness? And, what is the capacity (mAH) of the internal battery? Thanks.
This light is not designed to be operated which charging is in progress. The battery is 500mAh.

How long does the battery last in the highest setting?
1 hour in the 500 lumen hyper-bright mode. 1.5 hours in High and 3 hours in Low.
