"Small compact and bright"
"What did the world do for light before the Kompanion? It often went without! Now that it's here, I find new uses everyday. Today I l;it up installing a sump pump, as the magnet handily hung it where it copuld do the most good. I'm a model railroader and it has a multitude of uses. When building models, it can be a handy extra source of light on the workbench. Working around and under the layout, the small size of the Kompanion can throw light anywhere it's ,needed. The nice color temp/CRI of the Kompanion makes it esepcially useful for supplying the right lighting from the rioght angle, yielding superior results. I've also discovered a potential use. Europeans have a fog lamp standard that usual;ly includes an extra bright single red rear tail.light.You can see the knockout locations foe these lamps in many imported European car bumpers, a size which happens to be just about the same as the siz of the Kompanion, which happens to be significantly (but not over bright) brighter than stock tailights. If I ever get caught in a thick fog, hanging a Kompanion facing the rear in Red mode will improve my safety on an emergency basis. I recommend a safety lanyard so you don't have to depend solely on the magnet for mounting."
"If you’re looking for something small and convenient in an emergency this is a must have to keep in the car or on the keys! Perfect for working under the hood as the magnet is strong enough to stay put! The battery life is pretty good too! Will be purchasing a few more!"
"GREAT PRODUCTS. PERIOD"
"haven't used it yet"
"The KOMPANION is one of the smallest LED lights that that Litezall produces but boy, does it pack a punch! To call this product a flashlight does not do it justice - it is UNLIKE any other flashlight. The KOMPANION has so many features it's almost difficult to describe...but here I go. To start, the KOMPANION is NOT DESIGNED like a conventional hand-held flashlight. The KOMPANION is so small, it will fit in the palm of your hand, weighs around 45 grams and it produces 500 Lumens of light (high, low and strobe). Further, it features a standard camera tripod mount, a bottle opener, a carabiner (an excellent accessory for your key ring), a built-in kick stand, it's water resistant, it's USB-C rechargeable (yes!) and lastly but not least, it has a strong magnet on the back that attaches to any ferrous surface. Amazingly, all of this is attractively packaged into a 2 1/4" (6 centimeters) high by 1 3/4" (4 3/4 centimeters) wide, do everything light. A must buy!"
"Great and must have for power outage box"
Approximately how long does it take to charge after being fully discharged?
It takes up to 1.5 hours to charge.
Can the provided charging cord be combined with a charger block allowing the light to be charged in a 110v outlet? If so, should the charger block be limited to a maximum wattage, like 10 watts? Thanks!
Not sure I understand the question. That said, any standard USB charging souce should work fine.
Can I power the light from an external USB power cord if I want to keep it on 500 lumen brightness all day? Will it overheat or anything at that brightness? And, what is the capacity (mAH) of the internal battery? Thanks.
This light is not designed to be operated which charging is in progress. The battery is 500mAh.
How long does the battery last in the highest setting?
1 hour in the 500 lumen hyper-bright mode. 1.5 hours in High and 3 hours in Low.
